St. Patrick Center
Young Professionals Board (SPC YP)
Purpose Statement
The St. Patrick Center Young Professionals board (SPC YP) is a team of emerging leaders in St. Louis who are dedicated to SPC's mission to combat homelessness. In the 2023 fiscal year, SPC served 4,223 individuals, provided 114,698 hot meals, and helped 644 households retain housing in the St. Louis region. Whether through networking over beers at Irish Party, running in the Veteran's Day 5K, sponsoring families through Christmas Wishes, or cooking dinner for homeless clients through Women's Night Program, SPC YP members serve as ambassadors within the St. Louis community for the care our homeless neighbors deserve.
For young professionals ready to join the fight against homelessness in the St. Louis region, please contact SPC YP Liaison Rachel Hansen (rhansen@stpatrickcenter.org) and fill out the new member application.
Member Expectations
All board members are expected to attend 75% of quarterly board meetings each year. In addition, they must serve on a SPC YP committee or volunteer three times across SPC YP opportunities, whether that be Irish Party, Women's Night Program, Veteran's Day 5k, Christmas Wishes, etc.
