Amanda Laumeyer Named CEO of St. Patrick Center

St. Louis, Missouri – Catholic Charities of St. Louis today announced the selection of Amanda Laumeyer as the CEO of St. Patrick Center, a ministry of Catholic Charities.  Laumeyer, who has been acting as Interim CEO, will assume the full duties immediately.  For the past 8 years Amanda has served in a leadership role at St. Patrick Center, leading the organization’s community engagement, fundraising, and marketing efforts.

 

“Amanda is a proven leader who stepped in immediately when needed as interim CEO and has led St. Patrick Center during these past few months in a model of commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of Catholic Charities and serving the people at St. Patrick Center, every day.” said Jared Bryson, President and CEO of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. “Our goal with St. Patrick Center and all our ministries is to bring the healing, help, & hope of Jesus Christ to those in need with a compassionate, caring presence and I look forward to working with Amanda on this goal across the entire Archdiocese of St. Louis.” Bryson continued.  

 

 “Amanda is the right leader for St. Patrick Center,” said Joe Robinson, president of the St. Patrick Center Board of Directors. “She has already begun leading the agency to continued growth and building partnerships with community funders and partners during her time as Interim CEO. We are eager to watch her continue furthering the mission of St. Patrick Center in her new role.”

 

Amanda’s entire career has been spent in social services, with the past 11 years focusing on nonprofit leadership. Amanda is a member of FOCUS St. Louis, the region's premier nonprofit leadership organization; committee member of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Run, where she was recognized as the 2023 Volunteer of the Year; Class 68 Women in Leadership FOCUS St. Louis Alumni; member of Association of Fundraising Professionals St. Louis; and former board member of Nonprofit Marketers of St. Louis. She also volunteers as a speaker for the Annual Catholic Appeal for the Archdiocese of St. Louis and as an agency speaker for United Way of Greater St. Louis.

 

“I am thrilled to serve as St. Patrick Center’s next CEO and continue the legacy started 40 years ago by Edith Cunnane, who in partnership with the Archdiocese of St. Louis and Catholic Charities founded St. Patrick Center.” said Amanda Laumeyer.  She went on to say, “Each morning as I cross the street coming into the office there is a line outside our doors. The need for supportive services continues to grow and I look forward to the collective work ahead and creating a community where everyone has access to sustainable housing, employment, and healthcare.”

 

Laumeyer resides in St. Louis with her husband and son. They are parishioners at St. Richard Catholic Church in Creve Coeur.
