2022 Spring Newsletter - Lynda

One of St. Patrick Center’s longest-running programs, Women’s Night Program, provides emergency shelter, daily meals, and access to shower and laundry services to women experiencing homelessness. The Women’s Night Program also provides case management and other supportive services to help our clients prepare for permanent housing. This program can serve up to 30 clients, allowing for a safe and healthy transition to permanent housing.

ONE OF THESE CLIENTS IS LYNDA.

Lynda came to the Women’s Night Program after being forced out of the home she was living in with a relative, following a family dispute. After struggling to afford hotel accommodations, Lynda ended up on the street with no place to stay. Thankfully, she found her way to St. Patrick Center, where she was quickly taken in and offered safe shelter and support.

Lynda has been doing very well during her time in the Women’s

Night Program. She has taken several job training courses in the hopes of procuring employment soon. She is currently on the waitlist for a housing voucher and is excited to begin a new journey in her very own home. Lynda is very appreciative of all the care and support she has received since joining the Women’s Night Program and thankful for the supporters who make it possible for her to be a part of such a wonderful program.

“St. Patrick Center is a stepping stone to help me step up and find my way. To move on, have a job, have housing and get myself together.” – LYNDA, WOMEN’S NIGHT PROGRAM CLIENT
