Year-end Successes

Our Donors and Volunteers Came Through Once Again.

Even in a pandemic, and perhaps because of it, St. Patrick Center donors and volunteers surpassed our expectations for the year-end campaign and other events. “With your support, we raised an incredible $733,648 for our ‘Home for the Holidays’ campaign in November and December,” said Senior Director of Development Amanda Laumeyer. “Thanks to our generous supporters, these funds will provide services in what is sure to be a year of increased need as even more people in our community become threatened with homelessness as a result of COVID-19,” added CEO Anthony D’Agostino.

The Trevisanos of Crestwood amazed us when they delivered their donation from Trevisano Teddy Bear Christmas Land light. For the tough year that 2020 was for everyone, the community rallied around this breathtaking local light display and made it possible for the Jay and Susan Trevisano family to nearly quadruple their donation to more than $26,000!

That’s not all… St. Louis area individuals, families and businesses “adopted” more than 450 clients and their families this holiday season in our long-running Christmas Wishes family sponsorship program. Donors bought each person a minimum of two items from their wish lists and we distributed the gifts at St. Patrick Center in mid-December to make more many Merry Christmases.

And in November, through our Give Thanks Thanksgiving distribution program with long-time donors and sponsors, we provided traditional Thanksgiving meals to 280 clients to celebrate at home with their families and loved ones.

From our hearts to yours, THANK YOU for all you do to help us transform lives during the holidays and the rest of the year.
