The St. Patrick Center family is saddened to hear of the death of Kim Tucci, who passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at the age of 78.
Along with Joe Fresta and the late John Ferrara, Kim Tucci founded The Pasta House Company in 1974. He received many awards and honors for outstanding leadership through civic, business and charitable organizations.
Kim was a generous supporter of St. Patrick Center. He was an instrumental partner in the opening of McMurphy’s Grill in 1990, then the nation’s first restaurant to provide employment and training to people experiencing homelessness. Over the years, Kim provided many in-kind gifts for our clients, including “Tucci’s Turkeys” during the holidays. He also shared his talents for several years as our Irish Open auctioneer.
A memorial mass will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, 4431 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO, 63108. We ask for your prayers and kind thoughts for Kim’s wife Sharon and their family.
