Volunteer Award

Mader Award CVN 2017 (high res) - editedSt. Patrick Center in November 2017 received a national award for volunteer services, the Father George Mader Award from the Catholic Volunteer Network.

The Father George Mader Award was created in 1988 to honor organizations and individuals that foster faith-based service in the United States and abroad. The award is named after Father George Mader, of the Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey, who in 1963 founded the Catholic Volunteer Network.

St. Patrick Center for outstanding leadership in promoting the value of volunteer and mission service. CEO Laurie Phillips accepted the award at a St. Louis banquet, along with members of our Founding Family and volunteers.
