May Good News Bulletin

Good News for May

— We partnered with St. Anthony of Padua kitchen to allow clients to volunteer in the food pantry, showing that local community support provides clients with opportunities and improves their employment skill sets.

— We assisted a client to find a new apartment that could accommodate his emotional support animal. He was so grateful he made a monetary donation back to St. Patrick Center.

St. Margaret Mary Alacoque School’s student council held a “wear green for St. Patrick Center” fundraiser that generated $500.

— A donor left us this lovely note with their donation: “As part of my nursing clinical rotations in 2007, we spent time at St. Patrick Center. It was one of the most meaningful experiences throughout my school and continues to impact my clinical practice.”

— Thank you to Sheila Schneider from the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program for making beautiful cards to sell for our Operation Safe at Home campaign. She raised $306!

— Two of our Workforce Development clients participated in a farmhouse woodworking dining table project that will be auctioned at our upcoming Irish Open.

— Congratulations to Chris Briggs for being named Immediate Support Employee of the Month. Chris is an excellent example of our core values at work every day.
