June Good News Bulletin

Good News for June 2020

–A former veteran client donated $500 in gratitude for the help he received from our
Supportive Services for Veteran Families program.

–Thanks to the Last Hotel STL team for taking time out of their Memorial Day holiday to donate meals to our veterans.

–From a veteran client (U.S. Navy): “Thank you for the hardware and software you procured for me that has allowed me to stay relevant academically and professionally. The best I can think to do is pay it forward, which I will as soon as I can.”

–The Assertive Community Treatment program team reports recently achieving this milestone: all 49 clients in the program are housed.

–Breakfasts for our clients: Thanks to Ameren for donating 140 Hardee’s sausage biscuits and to
The Sliced Pint for donating breakfast pizzas.

–Our Mobile Outreach team helped a client move from a tent to a tiny house, including teaching her how to complete a money order for the deposit.

–A former Workforce Development client who is no longer able to work due to a chronic illness, volunteered to help pull weeds around St. Patrick Center.
