July Good News Bulletin

Good News for July 2020

–Our Supportive Services for Veteran Families team enrolled 46 veterans and their families, and moved 24 into housing, during March and April.

–Thanks to Young Friends member Erin Schulte for donating two months of her yoga studio pay to
St. Patrick Center.

–From a veteran client: “Thanks to St. Patrick Center’s veteran programs for supporting me at this critical point in my life—especially Chris Mendes, who gave his full compassion, comfort and
assistance from day one.”

–A friend of Supportive Services for Veteran Families peer support specialist Bill Schnarr donated $500 to St. Patrick Center.

–Thanks to our behavioral health team and partners for serving clients during the COVID‐19
pandemic, including getting them their needed medications and meeting with them via telehealth services.

Local District 404 of GBU Financial Life, a member‐owned fraternal bene􏰀fit society, selected
St. Patrick Center to receive a $1,000 “Most Valuable First Responder” gift.

–A former Rapid Rehousing client called to say he is still in his apartment and has joined the
building’s resident advisory board.
