Funderwear brings in almost 24,000 socks and underwear

St. Louis high school rivals St. Joseph’s Academy and Cor Jesu Academy came together to provide 23,896 pairs of new socks and underwear for St. Patrick Center clients at the schools’ Funderwear Challenge 2020. This year, Cor Jesu edged out St. Joseph, with the winner announced January 14 at halftime of the varsity basketball game. Additionally, the schools raised $1,600 in donations.

Over the years, Funderwear has generated more than 250,000 pairs of new socks and underwear for St. Patrick Center. Because of this long-standing competition, instead of purchasing these items for its clients, we can invest in more programs and services for individuals and families working their way out of homelessness.
