Good news for February
–After losing his job due to the pandemic, a Workforce Development client on our BEST crew reached his goal of getting a full-time job with benefits in his desired janitorial field.
–We salute 11-year old Jayden Groves, grandson of Theresa Johnson in our Welcome Center, for
receiving a Life Saving Award from the St. Louis Fire Department. Jayden pulled his 18-month old brother from a pond, unresponsive, and relatives revived him.
–A Workforce Development client worked very hard with case managers on his employment barriers and was hired for a full-time job with benefits.
–After working survival jobs during the pandemic, a Workforce Development client collaborated with her case manager to find a full-time job in her chosen field of medical billing.
–Thanks to Kevin Major in Program Operations for going above and beyond to get rapid COVID-19 tests to our Assertive Community Treatment team… on his day off.
–Congratulations to Dawn Bess, Paul Dygard, Dewey Matthews, Khadija Muhammad and Andria Silver—employees of the month in Long-term Transformation programs.
–Thanks to Lawrence Tate and Katie Joseph for their help coordinating the Give Thanks and Christmas Wishes programs at Rosati Place for Rosati clients.
