December Good News Bulletin

We have good news to share!

-A salute to the Tri‐County Continuum of Care (Lincoln, St. Charles and Warren Counties) for achieving “functional zero” for veteran homelessness—thanks in part to the great work of our Supportive Services for Veteran Families program in those counties.

-Two clients at St. Louis Stamping Lofts have never missed a rent payment.

-Collaborating with a St. Louis County judge, the Supportive Services for Veteran Families team transitioned a veteran from jail to permanent housing.

-Thanks to the 7th and 8th grade “Mini Vinnies” at St. Charles Borromeo for their meaningful Freezin’ for a Reason event to learn about how we end homelessness and collect items for St. Patrick Center move‐in kits.

-Congratulations to the 18 clients who graduated from Sherwin-Williams Painters Training.

-Thanks to our media partners for sharing St. Patrick Center stories: casserole program with Tim Ezell on Fox 2; meditation class with Alyssa Toomey on News 4; and new chapel with Joe Kenny in the St. Louis Review.

-Congratulations to LaVahn Tate and Gina Pambianco, named Permanent Supportive Housing employees of the month.

-Thanks to Rico Dotson with our Supportive Services for Veteran Families program for sharing his story for our year‐end fundraising campaign.
