We’re digging out old photos from our early days, in honor of our 35th anniversary this year. Did you know this downtown St. Louis building pictured here was built in the 1930s and was home to the
St. Louis Star-Times newspaper? (Purchased by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in 1951).
In 1997, Sverdrup Corporation donated this 5-story, 100,000 square foot building to St. Patrick Center. We began operating here in 2000, with 15 programs, five service providers and a unique computerized client intake system.
Today, St. Patrick Center is one of Missouri’s largest homeless services providers, a Housing First model and the lead St. Louis agency for Coordinated Entry.
