Volunteer as an Individual

Please note St. Patrick Center is not licensed to book court mandated hours at this time.

The following volunteer opportunities are perfect for individuals:

It’s important for St. Patrick Center to connect on the local and state levels in relation to advocacy efforts for the population we serve.  Local and state governments are where we can gain the most credibility, and create the most immediate change.  With a new Mayor in St. Louis City and a new Missouri Governor, now is the time to build and rebuild relationships with help from a volunteer.

Come help support those that have served at our Veterans Day 5K on November 11! Volunteers are needed for set-up, registration, water stations, fan clubs, and much more. Sign-up online using our volunteer portal.

Serving meals is our most popular volunteer activity. Volunteers are needed for serving breakfast, lunch and dinner each day to our clients and to the public. All shifts must be pre-scheduled and fill up fast.

Groups are needed to help with St. Patrick’s Center’s client events: Give Thanks and Christmas Wishes. In November, donors, including Schnucks, CIC Group, and St. Clement of Rome parish donate turkeys and traditional Thanksgiving dishes to help individuals and families. Before Christmas, donors throughout the St. Louis area play Santa and purchase gifts for our clients and their children from their personal wish lists.

Can’t volunteer during regular business hours? We have other opportunities to help in the evenings and on weekends. These include making sandwiches, putting together hygiene kits, and more. For ways to volunteer from home click here.

You are welcome to drop your donation off behind of our building at our dock area, a staff member will greet you at your car. Drop off donations times are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am-11am. Only sandwich donations can be accepted on the weekends and holidays, not general clothing donations or other food donations.
